2012 is looking great for movies.

So far in my list of must see movies in the cinemas ....

Red Tails
Batman
Spiderman
Underworld 4
The Hobbit
Star Trek 12
James Bond 23
Expendables 2
Muppets
Ghost Rider 2
Men in Black 3
GI Joe 2
Ice Age 4
Bourne 4
Total Recall (yes a remake)
X Men Origins - Gambit (possibly the coolest movie of 2012)
The Sweeney
Taken 2

That's a lot of sitting on my ass!

Nope, too many sequels and predictables for me and no real "quality" films, and the only one I might have looked at would have been Bourne but this time no Matt Damon, anyway.....

How can this not be good?

Batman looks like a young cat in comparison.

This looks worth a watch too.

These three films are the biggies for me next year.

Looking forward to seeing what Joss Whedon does with Avengers though as i love Firefly.

Saw 'Iron Sky' last night.

Was very good film. Highly enjoyable.

Some very good black humour. Can see why Americans would not like it.

Yes. It's very good but not quite as good as The Dark Knight. Definitely worth going to see.

Agreed - saw it this evening and really enjoyed it. I didn't have very high hopes for it based on the trailers - I feared another Spiderman 3 type film, spoilt by too many characters.

Yes - I've mentioned that on another forum actually. Needs a second viewing really.

Yeah a second viewing is definatley needed. How are they going to top these films in the years to come Nolan has well and truly thrown down the gauntlet. Would definatley recommend an IMAX screening its not that much more expensive and the experience is first class, worked out at £11.50 for a ticket the screen size and sound is top notch.

It is superb, not as good as the Dark Knight I don't think but superb nonetheless - which really says something for the quality of Nolan's work.

Didn't find Bane too hard to hear, only lost the odd word. Makes you realise how big a part lip reading plays in 'listening' to someone.

Looking forward to getting this trilogy on Blu-Ray

Battleship......Perhaps the worst film I've ever seen in my life! But it was whilst I was on a AA 777 so I was a bit of a captive audience. And what was Liam Neeson thinking playing a US Navy admiral, surely he can't be so hard up that he needs to take a part in this garbage....can he?! He was Oskar Schindler for pity's sake!

Saw that trailer before going to the IMAX for my second round of The Dark Knight Rises. IMAX exclusive trailer is awesome also.

I'm off to see this on Saturday night, only saw the trailer last week for it and that was the first i'd heard of it. Toilet humour ? right up my ally !

Then on Wednesday night The Dark Knight Rises which is the one i've been waiting for. Should be a good week !
