A morning with KASET

Post by urkles »

Earlier this month I turned up at Khlong Luang in Bangkok with the wish to take some pictures of they're helicopters. After to speaking to the unit commander he invited me to spend the morning with engineering crew and take as many photos as I liked, result! I was very grateful for the hospitality shown and to have an insight into KASET operations from the base, it was very interesting. Anywhere here are the photos.

First of all I walked around hangar one;

In Hangar two were 2 Bell 206s and several AS350s, the Jetrangers were written off examples but was being returned for static display, probably at the Ministry of Agriculture next door with the Islander and Hughes 269.The Squirrels are being converted for use with MONROE, another paramilitary unit for civil operations.

Then it was time for the units only BEll 412EP to return from a mission.
