I really hope more is added but living local ive always wanted to sea a vulcan over the pier/sea so i cant complain much

Read the paper today to see any info about the 1 plane they still hope to book but instead they've put the same paragraph in  so looks like there will be a really late addition or the list in the programme is what we'll get :cuppa:

If you were to go on the pier the aircraft will be much closer or go over the top so the pier gets my vote!

So weather looks mainly cloudy both days but with more chance of showers Friday. :wat:
Maybe they should try booking the sun for the same time as the Vulcan

Someones said on the air show facebook( ) page that people have seet there caravans up on the top area where the trade stands go and they wont move so 1. trade stands may be low 2. be aware they may not be the nicest people if they wont leave.

Not sure if theres any truth in this.

If anyone's on the beach be aware that high tide is at 15:17 on Thursday and 16:07 Friday.

And indeed very nice weather at the moment although as you said should become increasingly cloudy as the day goes on.

After a slow start not a bad show, not like it used to be but vulcan made up for that, looks like lanc went tech, and heard radio airshow say the tutors were grounded, weather was just right too .Fingers crossed weather holds out tommw for the reds.

According to the commentary it was the Lancasters pilot that went tech. lol. Vulcan was superb as ever. Nice quiet pass to lull all the parents into thinking its not too noisy. The spiral climb with the "vulcan howl" seemed to last forever.

Also the display Tucano called in sick, was nice to see a black/yellow one anyway!

That howl was absolutely amazing that's the third time ive seen the Vulcan but the other time never got close to that!

Also since its return to flight in 07 ive wanted to see it display at clacton and well i dont think anything will come close to that for the rest of my life well maybe a Mosquito could come close but not better

it was called to an incident 2 miles away but took more than 10 mins before it landed guessing it had trouble finding it

Im thinking of staying at home tomorrow and watch from here, a few aircraft passed really low over so i was told!
