Summer at Duxford 2012

Post by Tbolt »

A good show with good weather, shame the 133 didn't get change to give us a display but the hi-light for me was the Re.8 and Albatros.

A rather too hot a day for one of the Rapide's, just good a thing that the passengers exit onto the left wing not the right.

Super set again Darrell. Your photo threads really seem to capture the atmosphere of a show.

Beautiful selection Darrell - the best I have seen from those posted today. Much better than those taken in 'the naughty field' which just goes to show its worth.

Was just about to say the same, beautiful post that really captures the day, great angles and amazing photographs, Ciaran

I don't have a lens that long! It was on take-off.

I have to agree, this is the best set I've seen of the show so far and shows that you don't need to go to the naughty field to get great shots.

Agree with that, an excellent set of shots. Both locations offer equal scope for some good shots.

Rapide engine fires have happened more than once. More danger on the field than off it?
