Jersey air show 13-09-2012

Post by SEMAE »

Hi

Some pictures taken from Elizabeth Castle. More to add later

I was on the tower the furthest away from the crowd line. Maybe I should have been on the lower tower which is much nearer for some individual aircraft. Nevertheless, still a very excellent spot for the getting the formations. Also, it is uncertain whether one would have got the B52 top side if you were closer.

The B52 is almost full frame and is running along the display line. Other pictures were taken as aircraft rounded the castle. Viggen on its own was too far away from my position but I got all three Saabs together which is what the picture I wanted.

I re edited most of these images on 17-09-2012 with replacements as the original ones I posted were a little blotchy.

Great series there. Love the "bay" shots. I was on the first tower and judging from your pictures, the view isn't that much different. The solo displays are to far away there also. Just need some luck to catch them on a decent fly past.
