Stow Maries fly-in 29 Sept 2012

Post by umea4 »

There was a fly-in at Stow Maries, Essex, last Saturday that I've not seen any pictures from here so I thought it would be worth posting a few. Beautiful blue sky for almost all day, with light that just got better as the day went on.

Good set Anthony

It's a pity I didn't see anything about it or I would have gone along

Same here, I went to a show about 18 months ago, but didn't hear anything about this one. Shame it wasn't promoted a bit better otherwise I would have gone as well.

Thanks so much for all your comments - greatly appreciated, and sorry for the length of time its taken to get back to the earliest comments.

Colin - the Turbs were there in strength, and could do their limbo dancing and balloon bursting as I showed, but didn't have dispensation for flour bombing - but were entertaining as always.

Andy and FGR2 - next time I see something like this I'll post a heads up. I hadn't appreciated quite how little known it was.

Cheers,

Anthony.
