Autumn at Old Warden
Autumn at Old Warden
Another great show from Old Warden, it started out very foggy, but once the cloud lifted the weather was quite good.

Cracking good stuff!
Am I right in thinking the Gladiator didn't fly as planned? (I haven't seen anybody post photos of it)
I was a bit miffed at missing this show because I really want to see that flying.
But not such a disappointment if it wasn't in the air after all.

Thanks for the comments guys.
Your right it didn't fly, Im not sure for what reason though. I think everything else that was on the list flew.

She was in the back of one of the hangers. Looked like some maintenance was being carried out. I assume that the Polikarpov was put up instead as she was not on the flying programme. As far as I can tell everything else flew.

Po2 flew before the start of the flying display proper. Lysander wasn't on the original list, so I assume that was the replacement.

Oh yeah, that's right, I'd forgotten about the Lysander, and the Po2 did fly early.
