Lossiemouth CQWI & Joint Warrior - week 1

Post by MikeH »

A very enjoyable week spent at Britain's best active base for photography. Good to meet up with some old friends and some new ones too.

Lovely set, head on Hercules is rather nice, as is the row of GR4's.

Cracking set, too many to even pick half a dozen fav's, although the two Hawk specials taking off together must be a rare shot.

Hi Mike, don't tell me you were looking for Marham and took a wrong turn! Very nice and looks slightly better than Marham as well.

After spending ten hours behind the wheel I knew it wasn't Marham.

Cracking set of photos with lovely light in quite a few of them. Lossie is a great base for photography, shame its so far away from most places (although I suppose if it was nearer we'd get fed up seeing the same sort of shots from there all the time in thread after thread).

Some crackers in there!

Head on Herk, Tonka 094 keeping it low and the E-3 are the ones that really stand out for me.

Shame about the lighting tower on the Sentinel shot.

Some very nice photos there, I too like the Hawk "100 sqn specials" pair take off shot. Also good to see the C130K.
