Nice shots and good scanning too, to do them justice !
I like the TA4s, they'd long gone when I visited in 2006, but were still a few T2s lingering on then.

Thanks for the comments chaps, don't know if I managed to crack 500 views without one though

The scanning is challenging, as is the processing and Photobucket doesn't seem to enhance the viewing experience. I was lucky enough to catch a few Scooters around and about, they were nice

Very nice scans - but I believe that the T-2C is a VT-4 aircraft. It certainly has the same squadron badge as both of the TA-4Js that appear a bit further down.

Nice scans which give a good impression of the different things that could be photogarphed at Pensacola. B.T.W. Mad Dan is right about the T-2 of VT-4.

Thank you Mad Dan and Riessen2 - I was going cross eyed reading my notes from the day and indeed the T-2C was from VT-4

You have notes... Can I have one that says 50 with one of those squiggly signs in front of the numbers please?

I'll buy you a drink afterwards!!!

The striped rudder is another indicator. Great stuff, a US base I've never been to....yet...

VT-86 had striped rudders too  OK different thickness but it was 29 years ago, should have paid more attention to the editing
