The Southend Mitchell later became "Bedsheet Bomber".

A few from the 2007 Thunder Over Michigan Show - the theme just happened to be the B25! Wall to wall with Mitchells...

The following are my photographs of the filming of "Hanover Street", a war film released in 1979. It involved flying shots mainly at Bovingdon in the UK, and some at Little Rissington former RAF base, by then a British Army base occupied by the Irish Rangers. The film starred Harrison ford and Leslry Anne Down, and apart from flying sequences, was as forgettable as "Catch 22" was memorable. Of course the USAAF did not operate B-25s from the United Kingdom during WWII. The following pictures were all taken at Little Rissington, and include all of the B-25s used in the film:

151632 / N9494Z - Gorgeous George-Ann
151645 / N9115Z - Marvellous Miriam
151790 / N7681C - Amazing Andrea
151863 / N9455Z - Big Bad Bonnie
151724 / N86427 - Brenda's Boys
