The title comes from a rather comical conversation had by a couple of army guys who were on Deptford practicing marking out the strip for Herc landings, involving a rather loud jet noise heard from Boscombe.
Arrived at Everleigh in the morning only for the light to be crap and nothing around so we shot off to Tesco's and went to Deptford and then went back to Everleigh and then went back to Deptford. So after a quick 10 minute walk up to Deptford and running into Jamie & Dave we had the first good movement of the day with a Junglie Sea King staying down the bottom end of the strip, fortunately the cloud had disappeared and the sun came out for a change.

There were a lot of Squirrels out on Deptford throughout the day and two Gazelles but they all stayed a little too far away for any good snaps.
Next up was a Lynx AH7

16. A superb head on pass before returning to Boscombe. Could have done with having an extra 100-200mm though!

me and helicopters are not my thing, in fact I find them boring, but this has changed my mind, stunning each and everyone, thanks very much for putting this quality thread up, brilliant light with quality shots.

Been brave with the shutter speed, but those are some seriously stunning photos Lloyd, well processed as we know you do so very well. I can pretty much say goodbye to my efforts for the next week of POTW.
Re: 14TH NOV: Is That A Helicopter?
