PIK Mil 2012 Part 1 - PIK Heavy
Re: PIK Mil 2012 Part 1 - PIK Heavy
Excellent set showing a wonderful array of visitors but that shot of the KC-10 taxiing with the yellow glow is stunning!
Do you want the Aladeen news or the Aladeen news?

Very nice selection, a pity that the Scottish weather hasn't always played ball for you but some very rare catches all the same. As said, the KC-10A is a sublime image
You caaan't trust the system... Maaan!

I really like the KC-10 touchdown shot as well as the beautifully lit one. Great work.

Great set, love the the KC10 shot
Re: PIK Mil 2012 Part 1 - PIK Heavy
just a question from me:
1) the herc in the first image - is it a US aircraft?
love the KC10 shot too, but why does everyone use prestwick as a staging post, it should be made an RAF base

Believe I read somewhere some years back that the AFRES and ANG crews preferred Prestwick over Mildenhall because facilties for transiting aircrew such as accomodation were much better

Also could be that Prestwick is a 24/7 airfield with no noise restrictions as opposed to most UK military bases
