"Strange Formations"
in the recent years people have been doing a strange arrey of pairs for formation and i want to see the pictures of them post as many as you want and say what it is and where you took the picture heres a few from me
1. this is from dunsfold in 2011 and is a hawker sea fury in close formation with a hawker hunter
2. a very simlar shot but this one was done in 2012 i didnt exspect it to see it two years in a row but a fun display good for photography
the pictures arnt great but it is still an interesting line up of aircraft in formation the classics

Some Jaffas in here- Pete's head on break shot of the Dakota and <insert name of type here >; Phil's mixed de Havillands; and Derek's Haek/Blackbird and Mossie/Blenheim shots being particularly special.

Re: "Strange Formations"
i have some info on the Sr71 Hawk combo, The Hawk was a photoship for the BBCs coverage of that airshow. So as it was not flying on the show days then i think it was one of the weekdays instead.
Life's a piece of S*** if you look at it!

The BAF A330 only flew one day, which day that was I can't remember though...
Re: "Strange Formations"
I know this is cheating really, but this is still the strangest formation I ever saw. In Wales.
I very much enjoyed this one. In Wales too as it happens.
And this one isn't really a formation. In mid-Atlantic.
Apologies to those who remember them.
