Inside the PC-7 Team

Post by Chucky »

Hello everyone,

Last year I had the opportunity to fly two times with the PC-7 Team for my job. We flew the first time over the Crans Montana ski resort during the ski world cup race. It was a sunny winter day, everything went well but I was not allowed to take a camera with me.
The second flight occured in august during the Vertigo Paragliding Competition in Villeneuve (close to Montreux). That time I could take my camera but it wasn't a photo session ; I was just a passenger and couldn't request anything. My first intention was to use my 24-70mm and the 16mm fisheye, but I was told to take only one lens so I decided to use the 16mm only. This could be a bad choice because when the team fly loose, the aircrafts seem very far but as I was flying in the upper aircraft during the mirror manoeuver, I prefered the fisheye.

Outstanding set - #13 is my pick of the bunch, but every one's a winner. Good choice to go with the 16mm!

These rival Bartak's Mig-29 set as the best images ever on UKAR.

Truly astounding. The angle on 13 is unique!

I'm very jealous!
