18TH FEB: The Chop Shop

Post by Lloyd H »

Well a ruddy awful day with the camera to be honest, mainly due to the wind blowing an absolute gale making it near impossible to pan properly hence the name of the thread - lots of chopped tails and wings! A good day nonetheless with two fantastic Tornado GR4 passes to start the day off a handful of Hawk T2s and 3 passes from a Hercules C-130J.
Thanks to Alan, Dino, Mick & Pete for the company up there.

Herc is a good'un - really leaps out against the misty background scenery.

Absolutely stunning, if that's a bad day I can't wait to see a good day! I agree that the Hercules shot (No.8) is really special

Superb ... I'd hate to see your work in a vacuum ... ebay would be flooded with second hand kit ... mine first ... Don't stop posting, regardless of the weather!
