Catch up with Variety...

Post by RickIngham »

It's been over 6 months since I was last on UKAR and I didn't realise just how much I have done.
For those with some time to kill, I thought I'd show you some snaps taken out and about since September.

Hopefully something for everyone?

Objective for 2013 is to carry on thinking outside of the box - hopefully this will be a good year!

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Indeed! Unlike their badly placed cones :ninja:

Thanks, yes RAW - had some trouble with heavy grain recently which turned out to be a dusty sensor so appreciate the comments! The Lightning was when it was held at Old Sodbury near Bristol. It's now currently holding at Kemble then on to Dyson factory when permission is approved.

Excellent images Rick, thank you so much for sharing.

What's the story with the chap in the blue jacket exiting the Chinhook, looking rather worse for wear?

All part of the realistic training using Amputees as casualties...Just hope they don't make the casualties in Afghan hop off the aircraft too! Example from the Daily Fail here taken on a previous MRX on Salisbury Plain: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2010/02/ ... 34x394.jpg

Didn't know you had a photo permit for Brize Norton, Because if you did then you would know that your not allowed to post photos from on base without permission due to them being MOD copyright.
There is currently an investigation being carried out after photos taken at Brize without permission were posted on the internet, Be warned!

Hi Brizeman, I have held a permit myself in the past and as you say they remain crown copyright and permission should be sought for 'Publishing', i also had this clarified at the police Flt. and was told that as long as visiting crews gave permission then posting on forums for personal use is fine. I believe permission was granted for these and the based stuff is fair game. Just saying....
Great shots Rick.
