Wittmund 12-03-2013

Luckily my education course at Bavaria had been cancelled last minute, so I "was not able" to go to the last Spottersday at Lechfeld. Therefore I took the opportunity to go to Wittmund to catch some Phantoms. And it was worth the trip.

Arriving in "Winter Wonderland" conditions


we were pleased by the first Take Off at around 0900Lt. by the local QRA





And at around 1010Lt. the main Highlight of the day took off. First of the Baron4 Flight was 38+10







Shortly followed by it's Buddy: 38+33







We also had a few visitor at Wittmund. First of all EF-2000T 30+77 from JG73


followed by 30+67


and 45+60 from AG-51



Before leaving Wittmund for Neuburg, both retro painted Phantom's did a very nice Formation Low Approach





and last but not least the special marked 38+64 "Goldene HPO", one of two aircraft in the afternoon wave
