Now these shots really are something different. Some pretty rare aircraft and lovely colour schemes there and a nice change from grey. Was it easy to arrange base access?

No. It took several attempts over two years to get approval. From what I was told during my visit, approval must first come from the Prime Minister's office. I believe that only a handful of people have been allowed to visit since 1999 so I was just lucky I guess.foxfour wrote:Was it easy to arrange base access?
