Quality stuff sir.
Re: MiGs at Pleso
All were taken from outside. Images 7,8,19,20 and 21 were taken from the public viewing terrace which opens in the summer at 0900. No security problems taking pictures from there. All the others were taken on the approach to runway 23. I stood on the bonnet of the car to clear the fence. Security can be a problem here but I survived from 0930-1330 before on the fifth security pass someone bothered to stop and wanted me to move I don't believe they can move you but I was leaving anyway as the light had gone on the runway. Your biggest problem will be the general lack of flying. It is rare to catch more than two different aircraft each day and flying is usually finished by 1400. I was lucky to catch a QRA launch which is only practiced once a week.

Re: MiGs at Pleso
Thanks Chris, we decided to visit the Zagreb-pleso airfield as well, mostly taking photos from the public teracce with a lot of civil traffic in front. Migs were taxiing behind the parking airliners with APU`s running, then taking off and landing on the RWY05, so the heat waves from parking airliners will severely distort any long range shots, not to mention particularly during a hot day. Been there for two days, at the end we also tried taking photos near the fence, but within 10min we had airfield security and police asking for ID`s and leaving the place. Migs started to fly ten minutes before 1100, last Migs landed before 1500, the first day they did only one jump in a pair, the second day we saw 3 jumps in pairs plus the QRA.
some photos....hopefully Chris will not mind.
