Wales versus the 493rd

Tuesday the 30th of April 2013 will be a day to remember, an early climb to Corris was rewarded with a spectacle to widen the eyes of anyone, 6 x F15Cs ripped the valley apart with a total of 18 passes followed by a Typhoon and a few T2s.
At 12:55 we scurried down the hill and then headed up Cad west, a very hurried climb that halfway up had me breaking my record for getting cameras off my back and out of the bag when a Typhoon growled out of Bwlch, I nailed possibly my best cockpit shots as it tore past me! Then soon after reaching the top the second wave of Lakenheath action turned up, Awesome, just awesome!
These are just some of the Eagle shots, I add more, plus Typhoon, Tornado and T2s later!

A glorious set Nigel. Not too many on Corris by the sounds of things which is a shame....a super spot.

Love the Eagle, but these girls are starting to look very wrinkly and dirty.. Great set though, really like the ones where they're pulling up.

Many thanks, they are getting dirty, at full res you can almost identify the brand of boots the maintainers wear by the bootprints!
