After a morning at the Waddington departures, I went on up to York to catch the last surviving A4 Pacifics at the National Railway Museum in York.
They have been specially brought together for the 75th Anniversary of Mallard's record breaking run. Full details here: The locomotives will only be in the great Hall until the 17th when some will go back to their railtour duties.

Even at 5pm in the afternoon it was still busy, with loads of people taking photos. It was all good natured though with no-one hassling anyone to get out of their way so they could get the shot they wanted. Made a nice change.
