Superb selection of shots you got there. That's what I call an 'enthusiasts' location. One instinctively knows when it's right!!

Terrific shots Rich. Junglies steal the show for me.

Brilliant shots,
However I would expect nothing less.
As others have said, the flare Mk.4 is wonderful. :worship:

Yeovilton AirDay 2013

Post by RichPittman »

Fantastic Day down at the local,
Never thought id get that Gripen so close to home.
Good to meet some new faces and the old chap from Winchester;)
Memories of the Day that stood out were the assault flare release and the vulcan and I thought I hadnt done so well on much else.
Looking back now im happier with the results :)
Cheers Rich

Fantastic set there, I would be delighted with those.

The Sea King flare release is great and something I have not seen before. Nice to see Yeovilton are prepared to use flares, they really do make a huge improvement to a display.

Commando piling out the flares and Gripen topsides are winners. Great to see that scheme in the flying display!

Very nice indeed but that's what you get with good light and I bet you had more shade there too! The Sea King flare shots are brilliant!

Excellent set... and some of these look a little familiar (although generally a lot sharper than mine!)

Was nice to see you again Rich, and glad you had a good - clearly fruitful - day.

Suffice to say I was totally knacked by the time I got back to my car!
Wonder now if I should have stayed for the Sea King flares, but you can only be in one place at a time...

Just a fantastic thread, Rich.
I should have stayed with you lot for that flare shot!

Really like that Spitfire topside too - spot on.
