Brilliant shots. The light on them really brings out the detail.

Or maybe you could just tell us all where they're taken from? It must be a public place so why the secrecy?
They are lovely photos by the way.

Re: An evening of Heathrow arrivals!
Firstly, what a great set of images. Thanks for sharing them.
Secondly, Being as this isn't a secret location and is perfectly accessible by the public, there's no need for all the PM's, I'll save you the hassle!
Facing south looking towards the fenceline there is a small kink in the fence around a small building which gives the required angle for the above shots. It can be found around 400 yds east of the runway tunnel just before you get to the renaissance hotel. To be honest though all along that northern perimeter fenceline is suitable. I find a single step necessary to get clear of the chainlinks, if you are over 6'2" then you'll probably just manage it. It goes without saying that common sense prevails and you ought to be mindful of security issues and not turn up with a set of step ladders!! In the middle of the year when the sun goes north of the centreline in the evening, the shots possible from here are excellent. Parking however isn't easy. I usually park a good twenty minute walk away to the north to be on the safe side. Hope this helps.
