Bucharest International Air Show 2013

After being at RIAT last week (photos soon) I've attended the local Bucharest International Air Show, or BIAS, that was held on Baneasa Int'l Airport. The 5th edition of the air show featured as special guests the Baltic Bees, The Flying Bulls (with the B-25 and AlphaJet) Jurgis Kayris and Luca Bertossio. There was a day show that was held from 9AM to 2PM and an evening show from 7PM until sunset. The local participants were: Romanian Airclub with Hawks of Romania, gliders, ultralights, Aerobatic Yakers, Special Aviation Unit, Romanian Special Forces of the gendarmerie.

Great set, that Alphajet looks spectacular!

It was also more noisier than the whole 5 aircrafts of the Baltic Bees.

Unfortunately due to bugetary problems MiGs couldn't attend the airshow.
