As some of you know, due to the bad weather this year's Axalp show was canceled. I was lucky that I was there in the days of rehearsals and was able to take these few shots and now I'm sharing them with you.

Yes very nice indeed.
After trapseing up the wrong side for the light twice, If I ever went again it would have to be up this side.
Trouble is were still talking 400-600 mm arnt we?

I'm guessing he has a 1.4TC on the 500mm f/4, as the EXIF on a few I just looked at are 500mm or 700mm.

From the Wildgarst down is better to use long lens but 70-200mm will be enough for the face on approaches and all the over head flights can be done even with 50mm or wider.
