Bo-105 Mania!!!

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to join the GRAS (Gilze-Rijen Aviation Society) on their basevisit to German Army base Celle. On Celle most of the German Amy Bo-105 are stationed after the closure of Roth last year. The closure of Roth means that there are currently lots of Bo-105 in Celle. This resulted in 82!!!! noted Bolkows of which 26 arein storage in variable conditions.

To give you a impression please see the quick edits below:

1. About 10 single ship missions were flown between 14:00 and 18:15.


2. This is one of the two special painted helo's at Celle. Both are former Roth machines and are painted to commemorate the closure of that base.

I must admit that the Bo-105 is one of my favourites. It's very tiny but the sound is awesome.
