As some may know I lived in Seattle for around 10 years and was witness to most of the milestones and 'teething problems' associated with the 'Dream' or at times 'Nightmare' liner

December 15th, 2009 - Here's the Maiden Flight of ZA001 from Paine Field in pretty awful weather....................

............And here's the Maiden Landing at Boeing Field a couple of hours later in even worse weather. The first time we had seen that amazing wing flex in person.

Fast Forward a couple of years and here's ANA's first 787 at Paine Field being prepared for the delivery flight to Japan.
Is there a limit to how many shots we can post on this thread? I've got loads of the test fleet and production aircraft on the Everett line. Let me know if you want to see more. Keith

Just a few of mine taken on 3rd November at EMA of the new 'Virginer' 787-9.

These were taken with my Panasonic Lumix LZ20, haven't been edited and aren't up to the magnificent standards set by others on here but thought you might like them!

What ground clearance? - Sorry I chopped the back of the Trent off, but I was just surprised at just how close those big Rollers are to the ground.

Just a couple of photos of the 787 from me. The aircraft performed a flypast of the Rolls-Royce site in Derby on the way home from it's Farnborough debut in 2010...
