Scotland's Charity Air Ambulance, SCAA is nearing its 500 mission since it was started nearly two years ago. It's actually 487 but who is counting?
To celebrate SCAA organised all the local emergency services together for a photo-call and the Royal Navy sent a Sea King from HMS Gannet, Prestwick.
So, bear with me there's military content in every piccie it's just that you will have to look for it!
These images form a portfolio, it's not that often that I get this close to a Sea King and it's certainly not all that often that I get so close to a Sea King with rotors running!

Very nice images and a good event to raise awareness of what the emergency services do every day. I think from memory that G-CDBS used to be the Cornish air ambulance and the first in the country so nice to see it is still in use.

Excellent set of images
Correct Sir, I didn't realise it was still in service.

I'm with you on that... The group photos are the pick of the bunch for me.

A very nice occasion by the looks of it and a tribute to all those involved in helping others. Glorious weather (was this actually in Scotland? ) and beautifully photographed. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful weather certainly compliments the subjects, the Bo105 is very aesthetically pleasing too! Have to go with the others and say the group photo looks great!

Do we still have this kind of occasion these days? I am hoping to join one or at least watch one.
