Air-to-Air refueling with F-15E's

Post by SorenAugustesen »

Hi

Back in February I went on a flight with the 351st Air Refuelling Squadron out of Mildenhall, in order to write an article about air refuelling and the unit. The article has now been published in english on our website (http://flymag.dk/nobody-kicks-ass-without-tanker-gas-en/) - also give the magazine a "like" on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/flymag.dk  ) (mods: I hope this "advertising" is ok - if not let me know and I will remove it).

Here are some images from the flight to wet your appetite

C&C welcome:

It's going to be hard to beat those images this year on here! Just stunning clarity, love them! Something I can only dream of doing.

These are some of the best air-air refueling shots I've seen. Beautiful post-processing as well.

Great set of pics and jealous as hell of the access that some of you guys get!

What is the pod that 308 is carrying on the centreline?
Arabest,
Geoff.

I'm not sure what the pod under 308 is, but here is a (slightly blurred  ) close-up of the pod. If anyone can identify it, please do tell
