I'm a bit surprised to see Shadow R1s on FR24, but ZZ417 is back over Norfolk again, and ZZ416 is visiting Snowdonia....
And as the smart ship grew,
In stature, grace and hue,
In shadowy silent distance grew the iceberg too....

2x C130J's heading East on FR24, just passed through the Daventry corridor, went out into the garden to watch them pass over. Not sure where they are off to, single ship took the same route yesterday and tracked into Marham.

KLM1227 flagged up 7700. Was headed to Edinburgh, now turned back to Amsterdam.

Apparently landed safely and the emergency was down to engine failure.

A fair bit of activity over North Devon this morning, F15's have been up playing in the Bristol Channel and there are Cobham Falcons over Devon now. Also a King Air near Truro. I really should get on with some work.

Hawks and a Falcon playing offshore from Blyth- can never seem to get Marine Traffic to pick up navy ships at the same time as I can see offshore military aircraft!

Anyone else experience some problems with FR24 yesterday in intervals? However, last night the airspace went crazy over EDI! I had SHT8V doing circuits and others in holding patterns over Peebles, some aircraft were coming in at very unusual flightpaths, particularly over my flat heading East by the South face of Arthur's seat, when usually I see them head in over Loanhead/Dalkeith and take the usual glidepath route! I was checking this with FR24 which concurred with what I had seen!
