Flygdag F7 Såtenäs, Sweden

Post by Agg »

What a great day this turned out to be, great weather (although the heat did make photography a bit tricky), great company and some fantastic flying. All the SwAFHF aircraft flew, as well as an F-18 from Finland, an ALCA from the Czech Republic and more Gripens that you could shake a stick at. But the stars of the show for me was the Swedish C-130s, simply fantastic!

Great set Fredrik  Kudos for getting such clarity in those conditions! Distance and sun were not favorable! Agree with the Herc comment.

Thanks Durran, I got my fair share of hazy shots as well, pretty much everything that was more than ten meters away and on the ground is a total haze fest :P

Were you on the inside?

Rich: I haven't been to Såtenäs before, so I don't know if the fence is new :P

Yes the fence is new and you can't see over it as you used to be able with the old one. The old one looked like a regular electric fence you use in agriculture so no surprise that they changed it.

I see they've given the Draken some proper codes now.

Lovely shots.
