Thought it was an great show with lots of highlights, Mustangs', Curtiss four ship, Red Bull team, to name a few.

Did anyone else see the Shuttleworth Gladiator's trying landing on Sunday? Looked fairly dramatic from the tank bank end with the aircraft facing back towards the M-11 when it stopped.

That Seafire LFIII is stunning, would be great to see that with OW's Sea Hurricane.

Why?

Agreed... Surely Yeovilton would bite their own arms off? How about a formation of Wildcat, Seafire, Sea Hurricane and an FAA-painted F4U (RN first carrier user...)?

My brother and I had a brilliant time at Flying Legends, although ran out of time to see everything in the museum hangars!
Highlights were the weather, re-enactment of a bomber command mission briefing, 11 X Spitifres, the P51s, Flying Bulls (in particular the P38 Lightning, wow!) and the Balbo finale!

Great day, as a regular attendee at RIAT, Farnborough and Bournemouth it was nice to go to an event with a slightly different flavour

I ended up going on Sunday due to going to Yeovilton on Saturday. Although we had the rain on Sunday it was still a great days flying. I made the mistake of deciding to leave when the big shower came at 4pm even before I had managed to leave the car park the sun was back out, grrr. Anyway I missed the last part of the show the P38, B25 that I had forgotten about due to all the fun I had already had. Still there's always a next time. Next year I think I'm doing both days, just so I don't miss out.

Loved the show and the rain did not "dampen" the enthusiasm. Just some magnificent aircraft there and everyone involved should be congratulated in their efforts. The Spitfires/Blenheim were very emotional. P.38 with that dark background outstanding and a huge highlight. Sound of "Red 7" awesome as was the Balbo and I will be back next year. Only down side was the Frenchman - again. Many around me felt the same and were voicing their opinions. Does he never learn to just keep quiet when the aircraft are in front of us? One older gent in front of me several times said "Not that story again" and yet others "So then why didn't the French win the war?". Despite his incessant talking the show was truly great and I was so pleased that the flying continued after the rain. Wondering what surprise is in store for next Legends. Well done to all - apart from Bernard ! :yahoo:

If anyone took photos of the WW2 vehicles on Sunday, Please see my post in Off Topic section, a Willys Jeep was stolen from the display on Sunday. Let's see if we can find the low life who took it.

Going to stick my neck out here a bit.... but I thought the French commentator was excellent!!
Not sure why all the negative comments??
I thought he judged perfectly when to keep quiet during flypasts and provided lots of interesting info elsewhere
Just my two pence worth
