Re: Duxford September Show 2015
Really not being critical, but I am surprised that in a 'Battle Of Britain' themed anniversary show that the BBMF Spitfire and Hurricane would only appear on the Saturday.
Early days I know in terms of planning etc - the prospect of a mass flypast (would the BBMF even have joined that?) seems a little less likely. Hope to be proven wrong. Still looking forward to the show, though for family reasons (7 year old daughter) - I have to choose the Red Arrows day. Which isn't a problem as I love them

Now officially qualifies as a 'regular' at Famous Dave's - El Centro

I see it's still not possible for Friends of Duxford to get a discount off the ticket price!
Edit: I've emailed them, so I'll wait and see how they reply before I decide whether to renew my membership.

Oh dear, I must have missed that bit, and I think I've thrown the newsletter away now! Hopefully the Duxford admins will be able to provide me with the code.

Amazing list so far.
Shame the hawk role demo has been taken off. Was looking forward to that.

Re: Duxford September Show 2015
Hi guys, im looking to go to this show at Duxford, im a Duxford newbie and need some advice, I only live about 20 miles away but cannot decide whether to drive or use the train. If i drive, what are the queues like getting into Duxford? Ive heard some horror stories. however, If i get the train to Whittlesford is it walkable?

Re: Duxford September Show 2015
As it's a ticket only event, then the car queues shouldn't be to bad (famous last words ) and during the winter I frequently walk in from Whittlesford station which takes about 35/40 minutes.

Re: Duxford September Show 2015
Hi all.
Just wondering if the BoB Synchro Pair team, Typhoon and Spitfire, will be making an appearance?
Nothing is listed on Duxford's participation list (they say keep checking for updates), and nothing is mentioned on the MoD's Typhoon Display Team site. I'd find it very odd if they didn't appear!
I may well have to visit Dunsfold, which is a bit of a trek from Sheffield.
Cheers.

Tickets booked!
The show looks good so far. Can we expect any/many more updates? I'm not familiar with how late Duxford normally have a complete line up.
I guess if they had anything fast and load on the cards, it would be confirmed by now?

I don't know everything there is to know about our hobby.

Same here. Just need to decide which day to go, or may just plump for both.
Can bet your life, if I book the Saturday, I'll need to work!!

M25 also, I assume the theory is that potential customers are likely to be travelling around the area over the next 6 weeks or so.
