Radom Airshow (45 shots of Redskin Style)

Post by redskin301 »

All,

This is my impression of a great airshow in Poland. Just my own raw action shots style with leveled horizons etc
It is not yet everthing which I saw, its just the first selection of shots, hope you enjoy them

Some excellent shots Alex, loving the Fitter topsides and even that Orlik looks good from the top  I like the W-3 that has escaped the drab green paintshop as well

Looks like there were some tricky conditions at times. And no need to apologise for the lack of sloping horizons - how it should be.

Fantastic photos of a great show... I took the camera along but didnt bother using it as I knew there would be far better photos on UKAR than I could take - And this thread proves that point perfectly.

However.... I cant believe that people on here choose to criticise our Polish friends for their approach to aviation photography. Photography is an art form, and art is all about interpretation. Some of the best photos this forum has seen in recent years have come from the Polish photographers. Diagonal horizons or not, I think they take a far better photograph than many who post on here.

Anyway, great photos.

XP282, you are reading my message wrong, off coarse those guys shoot the very best shots and I really love their work every time again, and next to that they are all great guys ;)
The only thing I would like to say is that I stick to my own style of photos, what everybody is doing is something you have to decide on your own

Redskin, Not at all... My comments weren't directed to you... It was actually SPLAT's comment that made me write that that. I think the photographer puts their own interpretation on the shots, and personally, I don't like it when they get criticised for it.

So sorry if you thought my comments were directed at you. 100% not the case. And as I said... Its because of photographers like you that I decided to keep my camera in the bag and drink a beer instead! Great shots!

Lovely shots which just show having the right location and using the available light is so important. Always put your own stamp on your photography and make no excuses for it. We are not all clones.

Very nice! I particularly like shot #8 with the flare and afterburner contrasting against the dark backdrop.
