Goodwood Revival

Post by Ledhead27 »

The participation list for the Freddie March "Spirit of Aviation" has just been released, Battle of Britain being the theme this year. It looks as though the aircraft taking part over Revival weekend will remain at Goodwood until the Battle of Britain Day on 15th September. List can be found at https://grrc.goodwood.com/goodwood-revi ... ukDjlHK.97 then click the link!

Also believe on the show days there should be the usual OFMC pair of Spit & Mustang, along with two P-40s from TFC.

Does anyone know any details of the Battle of Britain day at Goodwood? Times etc. Would like to go along weather permitting.

Remember that you can only go along to the event it you first register in advance for the free tickets. You can't just turn up.

No. Where we will be it will be a public event so just the same as at airshows. They do have conditions about using photos for profit though but I don't know how they enforce it. Be aware that the location that they are allowing the public will be you will not get any close up ground shots as that whole area is closed off. It is being filmed by Channel 4 so only invited guests are allowed in that area.

Vulcan display time 16:10 on Saturday.
Plus a nice 12 Spitfire flypast at 16:00 Sunday.

Vulcan flew directly over our garden fairly low at 3.25pm this afternoon as we were sat having a cup of tea.
Not far from Goodwood so that's the likely reason.
