Shuttleworth Uncovered

Post by Private Custard »

Todays show was a fine way to end the season. Decent weather, great flying, and some lovely aircraft to say hello to............and goodbye.

That's the best set I've seen all year.

The more I visit this place the more I love it, not just for the aircraft, location or photography. But simply for the sedate pace of things and relaxed atmosphere, a far cry from the usual hustle & bustle of Duxford.

Thanks a lot guys :)

There was something I noticed yesterday, and I wasn't the only one. No-one was flying the curve from left to right. It was a bit of an annoyance, as that's the direction with the best light! I take it we have the CAA to thank for that?

Anyway, here are a few more shots :)

Believe it or not, no camera trickery or filters were used. I've seen the sun catch certain angles before, but nothing quite as extreme as this!

Or he could have clicked the first topside shot. The photo is titled 'North American AT-6D-NT Texan G-KAMY/285068'!!

Oh yes, thanks! Didn't even need the + Harvard. I tried 285068 on A.net, but got no hits.
