Post by 58Hustler »

Delighted to have the opportunity to photograph Alan Bales' FW-190 replica on Saturday at Cromer Northrepps.

If a man speaks when he is alone in a forest and there are no women around to hear him, is he still wrong?

Very good. I'd prefer them without the vignetting however (used to be the bane of my life when I took slides with an inferior lens!) but that's probably just me.

Thanks for your comments guys.
As for the vignetting your probably right.
I think it's a phase I'm going through.
I was the same with HDR when I first learned how to do it!

Some very good shots.

However, not being an expert on warbirds by any means, how authentic is the "replica?"

Not very, given that it's 5/8 scale and powered by a 4 cylinder horizontally opposed "spam can" engine.....

Still looks nice though....
nothing is confirmed at a show until its u/c hits the tarmac or it is running in for its display.....
