Once brown, then green, now grey!

Post by ChrisL »

Once the decision had been made by the Croatian's to keep the MiG-21 going for a few more years, rather than aquire a new type, a deal was struck with the Ukraine repair plant at Odessa to overhaul 7 of the MiGs. They also decided to buy 5 from a failed Yemini order which had been stored at Odessa for a number of years. After much delay all 12 were finally accepted into service last year. Here is a selection of all 12 in the latest grey, spot the odd one out!

Niiiice. Good to see that even though they're grey they still look smart.

Might have to make a trip to Zagreb!
