Farewell to Sea King - 11th February 2016 - 14 images

Post by centaurus18 »

On 11th February I was fortunate enough to be granted access to 848NAS' Farewell to the Sea King event, to gather images for a new project.
Included in this, was the opportunity to have a flight in a Sea King - I thought it rude to refuse when asked in the briefing.

Attached are a few photos, mostly of ZG821/G (I was flying in ZE427/K)

Through the door...

My thanks go to all at 848NAS for its hospitality, support and friendless throughout, and to those at RNAS Yeovilton for allowing me access to this event.

Feedback welcome, on/off board.

Thanks for your comments Rich - much appreciated.
I went on the trip hoping to get one decent shot of the Sea King, thankfully I bagged a couple.

Great stuff Mark - really like the shot in the sunlight as you're landing back at VL.

Interestingly you've photographed my 'favourite' Merlin - favourite for similar reasons as your Sea King!
