Spent a few hours at Valley on Friday for the centenary celebrations of 208 Squadron, it was great to see HHA's Hunter visiting and especially the Martin-Baker Meteor which doesn't seem to get out much. Despite the grey and rainy conditions it turned out to be a great day, although a little sad knowing that the T1 will cease flying with 208 in the next few days.

Very cool stuff.
Haven't seen photos of the Martin Baker Meteor for ages! Good to see it alive and kicking. There's something wonderfully quaint/poetic about the sticker denoting it's contribution toward the F-35 project!

What a cracking looking Meteor! Well caught, looks like an awful day for it though...

Bit gutted looking at these, as I was in North Wales on Friday and had no idea this was going on.
