Wow!

They've made such a great start on these lists. Kudos.

Are they slightly confusing the issue or are we going to have 8 Hurricanes? If the latter, major wow!

Shuttleworth seriously may bring me close to bankruptcy next year. So many decent starting lists for each of their shows...

Gutted!!! Was really looking forward to the sight of six Hurricanes and now according to their website there's only one and that's the HAC aircraft!! Seems the Hurricane has been outshone by the Spitfire again. Wonder what the reason for the massive change is?

Nooo!! That's a real shame. Spitfires are fine but 6 Hurricanes would have been magical.

I wouldn't read too much into it, there's barely anything from the based aircraft listed at the moment for any of their shows.

Abandoning the six Hurricanes is a shame, but four Spitfires is more than an adequate substitution.

Four Spitfires is a good substitution I'll admit but the sight of four Spitfires or more is a regular occurrence at Duxford. Yes I do know the displays will be much better and exciting because there at Shuttleworth compared to Duxford. The quality seems to be so much higher but six Hurricanes would have been a unique sight, one not even attempted by anywhere else yet, especially Duxford. Just disappointed that it won't happen now, always have preferred the Hurricane over the Spitfire (heresy to some I know!) I wonder why they have had to change it?

Despite my disappointment its still a brilliant effort by Shuttleworth and I still look forward to any further developments/the day itself!

Sad news but at least it showed a level of imagination and ambition to attempt the content. It certainly got us lot excited. There seems to be some new energy behind the Old Warden shows in 2016

B-17 Sally B now scheduled to appear at this one.

Probably makes up for her withdrawing from the season premiere show earlier?

I notice the BBMF Lancaster has been upgraded from flypast to display (assuming the aircraft is airworthy in time), with the Collection's Polikarpov Po-2 having also been added to the lineup.

Unfortunately the Lancaster has been removed from the Shuttleworth website for this event.

Shame about the Lancaster.

Surely there's more to come from the home team on this flying programme? For instance, why bring in a Hurricane from elsewhere but not fly the Hurricanes already on site?

The line up is definitely looking a bit thin at this point.

I note Hangar 11's Spitfire XI has been replaced with 'Tall in the Saddle', PT's recently-repainted P-51D.

If Sally B comes banking round the Old Warden dog-leg... just once... that will be a full show for me, and everything else will be gravy... :-D
