Indian Navy Museum, Badolin, Goa, India 2016

Hi,
Further to my blog and the latest posting in the military aircraft section of this site, here's my visit to the Indian Navy Museum, at the back of Badolin Airfield, Goa.

By chance, 2 Navy officers and a civilian were there when i arrived and let me in for free, which was a small bonus.
What a collection, and although the light was harsh and i've had to pay with the levels somewhat it shows what there is to see, and i got round the place quite easily in an hour, despite 100 degree heat and little shade.

Glad to see the SHAR now has some 'legs', Kamov and Islander new since I went. Firefly is so wrong! Some great shots.

I've always had a soft spot for the Sealand, although this one seems to have been deprived of her motors. The cowlings seem hardly big enough for the propshafts!
