Have to say rare subjects but I have a few queries....

1. Those are live Aim-9's and Aim-7's were these Q birds? (Even though there is a range pod on one wingtip)
2. Why are the Canadians still using the Aim-7??????

#6 is a big crop, but well anticipated! The rest have a tad too much PP. for my taste, but great shots of a/c rarely seen in the UK.

I thought the Buffalo had retired, so good to see it (them?) flying still!

They're only used for SAR but the replacement is out to tender, the C-27J is seen as a strong contender.

Thanks for the kind words and happy to post images from Canada.

19 Wing, Comox located on the west coast is the only operator of the CC-115 Buffalo now. 442 "Snake" Squadron has five Buffalo on strength. As Andy mentioned, the RCAF is currently in the process of finding its replacement. C-27J and C-295 are two of the leading possibilities.
