Very nice, Im really liking the pictures of the Ukrainians, the Flanker is such a photogenic aircraft.

Very nice. Love the Su-27 . How far in advance did the show know that these rare beauties would attend ? It would have made a worthwhile trip.

Secondly can somebody in Denmark please give those is charge at Fairford the Ukrainians phone number. What has Denmark got had Gloucestershire has not ?

The Su-27 was on the list for quite some time actually, I think for at least 3 or 4 month. They were also on the list 2 years ago, but then something happened in Ukraine that made them cancel - something with the Russians... I think Denmark has a good relationship with Ukraine, and Denmark have used the Ukrainian Il-76's to different transport jobs in the past, which might be the reasons why they were here?

Some truly excellent images there. It is hard to pick a favourite! I do like the composition of the Merlin at rest in the grass, though.

Im guessing the fact that Ukraine wasn't invited this year is a big part of the reason why they're not attending RIAT

I think I'm going to have to get myself to some euro airshows - this one looks like a cracker! Digital Flanker is perfection in aircraft format if you ask me!
