That looks an interesting little event Giorgio, some good aircraft and nice pictures.

Here it is. Static display only, photo taken during departure.
The Italian Air Force sent a SIAI-Marchetti S.208 to the static display...
...and a "beheaded" F-104, in which the people could climb in to see the cockpit (photo taken during the 2015 show).
The Italian Army made a low pass with an AB.205, but it was not scheduled and was quite unexpected, so no photo of it.

Great stuff, many thanks, didn't know the Air Force were still using S208s, would love to see one of those.

The funny thing is that they shouldn't have been in service, if not as glider tugs for the Air Force Academy.
Unfortunately, the new SF.260 version for the Air Force (the SF.260EA) had lots of troubles, so the S.208s were pushed back into service as basic trainers.

Nice selection, some very interesting aircraft, and quite a variety for what looks to be quite a small venue! Love the JP/MB326 formation and the S208.

A nice set from a good event. The 326/JP shot is lovely!
