The Jet Pro Formation also came in from Lydd. This consisted of our home based Provost Mark 3 G-BKOU and Provost Mark 5, G-BWSG / XW324, callsign Jet Provost 324.

Very nice indeed. Think I saw you nipping up and down to the end of the runway in the white truck? Is that end of the runway accessible at all times for the regular spectator?

The Northern Showground is hired out quite often for events, filming and training during the week and at weekends, so you will need to check with the Ops Office first. We are a bit suspicious of people's intentions for driving up there when there is nothing going on as they could easily end up on the runway. The mound does offer a different perspective on landing aircraft but is into the sun to some extent during the afternoon.
