Abbotsford Airshow 2016

Hello,

Right after my Seattle trip, I reached the British Columbia for the Intl Abbotsford Airshow. As the Canada is looking for a new fighter, there were an F-35A on the static display (for the first time in Canada) and two Super Hornet demos in the air, one was the same as the RIAT's one and the second was presented by the US Navy TAC Demo Team. Next to these headliners, plenty of great Canadian stuff including the Snowbirds and the CF-18 then some warbirds and aerobatic acts completed the programme. On Saturday and Sunday the light was awful, but on Friday evening, that was just perfect, the sunset show was awesome ans the Mt Baker provide some great photos opportunities. Let's begin ! :rock:

Wonderful stuff - some of the compositions on the static shots are superb and the backdrop as you say is beautiful. Such a shame we never saw the special scheme Hornet over here!
