Just for devilment can I toss the ME262 hand grenade into the room, Then shut the door and leave...

A rehash of the preceding years that will still be lauded as spectacular when it's anything but.

It's November for goodness sake.
Just be thankful that in the past couple years they've started to release participants. You used to just turn up.
However, if you're that concerned I'd hazard a guess at:
Spitfires
P-51 Mustangs
Various Hawk variants
L-4 Cubs
B-17 Sally B
Maybe a Hurricane.
Loafer for Mr. Da Vinci.

Thanks for the reply Mr. Baron, just wanted to resurrect the thread & see if there was any info out there I may have missed.
Taking the time to check the forum, the thread & to reply to it in NOVEMBER, is much appreciated.

Re: Flying Legends 2017
It's only November and already the mob are closing ranks.
Given you see bugger all of the Legends "usual suspects" elsewhere in the UK these days, including most of the home based aircraft (such is life in 2016), a rehash of recent years would be most welcome, ta. Of course, if Little Gransden snag the Flying Bulls, Old Buckenham gets the Korean Corsair, Abingdon bowls out Red 7 and Dunsfold stages a 20+ aircraft formation, I'll gladly eat my words.
One thing a post above did remind me is how criminally unnoticed the P-36 & H75 pairing went in 2015. The first time in something like 70 years that two of them had flown together. Would P-36s have even flown with French Hawk 75s during wartime? I mean that could be a first time ever pairing. But, much like the P-26's once-in-a-lifetime appearance, it slipped under the radar. Very odd!

I'm sure 'Diet GAR' can't wait to publish the positives.

I don't get the anger towards people who enjoy something you don't! What does it matter to you? Why does everything have to be critiqued to the nth degree these days?! Embrace the love duuuude. There's too much crap in the world to get wound up about as it is.

I'm sure the current GAR won't touch Legends with a barge pole - unless the RAF Typhoon is there and every shot taken is a keeper...
You caaan't trust the system... Maaan!

Lob in Anna Walker's annual 15 minute Jungmann display. Lucky that Legends clashes with the Sea Of Tranquility Air Festival, as she manages to display at both, simultaneously...

You'll catch it at the STAF then, as Duxford will still be off limits?

Re: Flying Legends 2017
Same every year will do me just fine, thanks. Bring on the greatest spectacle in European historic aviation...
Looking forward to it.

Nah! I'd just go for the missing 'Leg-ends' hat-trick.

DH.88 Comet, Mew Gull and Travel Air Mystery Ship added. Interesting to see how the Legends purists react to these as they aren't warbirds...

I think it will be fantastic to see the Comet at Duxford.
