In Depth Bentwaters Airfield Tour - Saturday 18th March,2017

Post by brewerybod »

I have got permission for access to the former RAF Bentwaters and i am organising a more in depth tour geared to photography to compliment the popular airfield walks that i also organise on behalf of the Bentwaters Cold War Museum.
This tour will be by car and will be stopping at various areas and go into buildings where Cold War era artwork is still visible, some WW2 structures still survive as well.
The tour will be limited to 15 places and cost £25 per person and last 4 to 5 hours.

Send me a message if interested in booking a place or would like to know more.

Regards - Graham

Thanks to Bentwaters Parks Ltd for granting access.

Did this tour yesterday, many thanks to Graham and volunteers for a friendly, relaxed, informative and very full day. For anyone with an interest in USAF/Cold War history, a tour like this is unmissable, as is a visit to the Bentwaters Cold War Museum. Great day, Thanks again Guys!

I also went on the Bentwaters Tour yesterday and just want to thank Graham and the BCWM staff for a great day out. It is an amazing place and so much of it is in original condition. It was great to have access to so many of the areas & buildings, particularly the Maverick missile workshop and the weapons stores.

I would highly recommend a visit to Bentwaters as & when the next tour is arranged

Thanks chaps for your kind comments, i was a little nervous about how it would go as it was the first time i had organised one of these type of tours.
I spent today at Bentwaters as well ,because the museum is getting close to its first opening of the season (2nd April) and i wanted to re-stock the shop !!
