MCAS Yuma November 2016 (Large post)

Post by dinger »

A first visit to Yuma over two days in November yielded the following images. AV-8B's, F-35B's and F-5's galore with a few rotary movements and 8 Growlers performing missed approaches whilst on TDY to NAS El Centro. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Many thanks for the comments. Unfortunately, there is very little info on the Mi-171. It was parked in this location all day and did not move whilst I was there. My reference book has it as operated by the 6th SOS. Not sure how accurate that is though. A nice rare catch all the same.
